Brockton used an eighth-inning rally and a 3-for-4 evening from DH Guye Senjem to defeat Sussex 5-3. The Skyhawks scored two runs in the first inning and led until the sixth, when the Rox tied the game on Senjem's two-run jack. Sussex took back the lead in the seventh when 1B Ryan Lehr came home on a passed ball, but Brockton scored three in the eighth on an RBI single from Senjem, an RBI double from 1B Jake Daubert and a sacrifice fly from C Jason Radwan. Rox starter Brad Guy limited Sussex to five hits, all of them singles, in eight innings pitched.

North Shore 4, Worcester 1

North Shore starter Bryan Morse was brilliant, limiting Worcester to one run on three hits and striking out eight in eight innings of work, as the Spirit defeated the Tornadoes 4-1. North Shore was led by RF Andrew Wishy, who went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a first-inning RBI double. SS Chris Rowan, 1B Jake Brooks and C Alex Trezza also had two hits apiece for the Spirit. CF Lucas Taylor's sixth-inning RBI single accounted for Worcester's only run.

New Haven County 7, Quebec 6

A six-run fifth inning propelled New Haven County to a 7-6 victory over Quebec. The Capitales tallied three in the first and two more in the fourth to build a 5-1 lead before the Cutters' big inning; Quebec then responded with one run in the sixth, and had several late-inning chances, but could not manage to tie the game. New Haven's seven base hits came from seven different players, while 1B Francisco Lebron and C Olivier Lepine both had two hits for the Capitales.

New Jersey 4, Nashua 3

New Jersey took advantage of twelve walks issued by Nashua pitching to edge the Pride 4-3. The Jackals scored three runs in the fourth on an RBI single from 1B Bill Peavey and two-bases loaded walks, and added another in the fifth on an RBI single from DH John Lindsey. Nashua came back with two in the sixth and an unearned run in the seventh, but the New Jersey bullpen was solid, pitching three innings of scoreless relief after coming in for starter John Kelly in the seventh. RF Mark Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a double for the Pride.
