The Quebec Capitales scored two runs in the first inning and one more in the second to run out to a 3-0 lead and would roll from there to a 6-1 win over the Brockton Rox. With the victory, Quebec extends its lead in the second half to three games. C Pierre-Luc LaForest was the star at the plate for the Capitales going 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four RBI. SS Ivan Naccarata, 3B Pat Deschenes and 1B Alex Nunez all collected two hits apiece for Quebec. Capitales reliever Sean Gregory notched his second win of the season after allowing a hit and a walk in three innings of work.

Worcester 6, Sussex 5

2B Jeff LaHair's two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning capped off a three-run rally and lifted the Worcester Tornadoes past the Sussex Skyhawks. LaHair on the night was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI. 3B Chris Colabello was 2-for-5 with a run scored and a RBI while CF Lucas Taylor had a two-hit night and drove in a pair of runs. Tornadoes reliever Eddie Pena won his second game of the year after tossing a scoreless ninth inning. DH Jorge Moreno was 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and a RBI for Sussex in defeat.
