Can-Am League Names Players Of The Week

DURHAM, NC - New Jersey Jackals INF Myron Leslie and American Defenders of New Hampshire RHP Miguel Flores were selected by PA-Sportsticker, the official statistician of the Can-Am League, as the Teamline Direct Batter and Pitcher of the Week.
This is the second weekly honor for Leslie this season. In six games, Leslie batted .409 with three home runs, 10 RBI and nine hits. He plated six runs to go along with a slugging percentage of .818 and an on-base percentage of .480. In Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Worcester Tornadoes, the resident of Riverview, FL went 3-for-4 with two home runs, three runs scored and four RBI.
Leslie is currently batting .286 with 14 HR, 60 RBI and 78 hits. He leads the Can-Am in on-base percentage (.421) and runs scored (61) and tied for 2nd in runs batted in.
Flores pitched a solid game in the 2-1 victory over the Sussex Skyhawks Thursday. The Lynnwood, CA resident allowed one unearned run on six hits with two walks and seven strikeouts. Flores is currently 6-3 on the year with an earned run average of 4.38 in 15 starts.
