Trailing 3-1 entering the bottom of the fifth inning, the New Jersey Jackals offense came alive, scoring twice to tie the score, and eventually pulling away for a 7-3 win. New Jersey RF Quinn Stewart led the charge, going 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and a pair of RBI. 2B Marcus Sanders also had a good game at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a run scored, two RBI and his 19th stolen base of the season. Jackals reliever Kevin Gunter was credited with the win thanks to two scoreless innings. With the victory, Gunter ran his mark to 6-1 on the season.

Sussex 9, New Hampshire 6

The Sussex Skyhawks scored twice in the first inning and twice more in the second to take a 4-0 lead and they never looked back, en route to the victory over New Hampshire. Skyhawks starting pitcher Kyle Ruwe allowed three runs on three hits while striking out four in seven innings of work to earn the win and improve to 7-5 on the season. Leading the way offensively for Sussex was RF Maikel Jova who was 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI. Sussex reliever Sandy Nin tossed a scoreless ninth inning to record his ninth save.

Quebec 9, Brockton 4

HR: None

Quebec got a good outing from starting pitcher James Kukucka and 17 hits from the offense to roll to victory over Brockton on the road. Kukucka allowed two earned runs on four hits while striking out five in six innings of work to notch the win, his second of the season. The Capitales offensive effort was led by CF Sebastien Boucher who was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and a RBI. 1B Pierre-Luc LaForest also had a nice game, going 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. The win for Quebec snapped Brockton's eight-game winning streak and moves them a game ahead of the Rox for first place in the second half.
