New Jersey rallied from a 2-0 deficit to score five times in the top of the eighth and beat Brockton 5-3. Brockton's John Kelly pitched brilliantly for seven innings shutting out the Jackals and striking out nine. But in the eighth, New Jersey broke through against reliever Jamie Baker using a double and three singles to grab a 3-2 lead before 1B Juan Tejada belted a two-run homer to left that made it 5-2 Jackals. Isaac Pavlik went seven innings for New Jersey and earned his third win of the season. Hunter Davis and Rusty Tucker each threw an inning of relief with Tucker getting his seventh save.

Four Nashua pitchers combined to throw four scoreless innings of relief as the Pride topped Ottawa 4-2. Nicolas Suero allowed two earned runs over five innings to claim his second win of the year. Jason Paul, Rich Garces, Adam Piechowski, and Andrew Weimer each pitched one inning with Weimer notching his eighth save. LF Dennis Abreu hit a three-run homer in the first inning to give the pitching staff an early 3-0 cushion. Abreu finished 3-for-4 on the night. 1B Bryan Duplissie also homered in the contest. Ottawa LF Jereme Milons was a bright spot for the Rapidz going 2-for-3 with a run scored.

Sussex 3, Quebec 2

Sussex used an RBI single from LF Alex Frazier and a two-run homer from DH Walter Young to slip past Quebec 3-2. Young's blast came in the first inning with a man aboard and two out, giving the Skyhawks an early 2-0 lead. Quebec tied it up with a run in the sixth inning and another in the seventh before Sussex grabbed the lead back in the eighth. SS Kevin Rios greeted reliever TJ Stanton with a triple and was at third base with two men out when Frazier singled to make it 3-2 Sussex. Skyhawks closer Matt Petrusek recorded the final three outs for his sixth save.

Worcester 16, Atlantic City 6

1B Chris Colabello had a spectacular night the plate belting three homeruns as Worcester blasted Atlantic City 16-6. Colabello went 4-for-6 with four runs scored and eight RBI, falling two shy of the record for RBI in a game he set last season. His second homer of the night was a three-run shot that capped a nine-run fifth inning for the Tornadoes. CF BJ Weed and RF Scott Grimes had good games as well finishing a combined 5-for-11 with an RBI and five runs scored. Shaun McNamara pitched six innings to even his record at 2-2 on the campaign.
