The North Shore Spirit became the first team to reach 10 wins since the break behind a strong outing from starting pitcher Dennis Robinson. Robinson held the Cutters to two runs on 10 hits through eight innings of work to improve to 2-3 on the year. Closer Derek Drage picked up his fifth save of the season by working a scoreless ninth in which he struck out one. Despite being out-hit by the opposition, the Spirit managed to scratch out a win with two runs to break a 2-2 tie in the ninth. C Alex Trezza and 2B Gilbert Gil each went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI to lead the way offensively.

New Jersey 8, Atlantic City 2

The New Jersey Jackals improved to 6-8 in the second half thanks to a productive offensive effort that included 10 hits and was led by CF Zach Smithlin who was 2-for-3 with two RBI. Smithlin also stole a base in the game, giving him 26 on the season. The Jackals effort at the plate was complimented by a good effort from starting pitcher Mike Vicaro, who allowed two runs on four hits and struck out six in seven innings of work. Vicaro was able to work around his five walks and improve to 8-3 on the year with the victory. Four other hitters recorded two hits for the Jackals in the game, including 3B Wilton Veras who was 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Nashua 4, Worcester 2 (10 innings)

The Worcester Tornadoes were able to rally late and erase a two-run deficit, but that effort went for naught as the Nashua Pride came up with two runs in the top of the 10th inning to win and improve to 7-8 in the second half. Pride reliever Rich Garces earned his fifth win of the season by tossing a scoreless ninth inning, setting the table for the offense to win it in the extra frame. Angelo Burrows picked up his second save of the season by holding the lead in the bottom of the 10th. Both starters pitched well, but neither factored in the decision. LF Bryan Duplissie led the way offensively for the Pride. He was 3-for-3 with a home run, his 10th of the year. SS Olmo Rosario and 1B Chris Colabello each homered in the game.

The Grays managed 10 hits, but could only plate one run as the Rox improved to 7-7 with a win at home. Brockton starter Mike McTamney allowed one unearned run on eight hits and struck out six through seven innings of work to improve to 2-7 on the year. Closer Amad Stephens notched his fourth save with a scoreless ninth. Rox 1B Francisco Lebron was 1-for-4 with a home run, his 12th, and two RBI to lead the way offensively. Grays CF Marcus Lewis led all hitters in the losing effort. He was 3-for-4.

Sussex 8, Quebec 5

The Sussex Skyhawks got a win thanks in large part to starting pitcher Edisbel Benitez, who allowed two runs on five hits and struck out two in 5 2/3 innings to improve to 5-4 on the year. 1B Jabe Bergeron led the way at the plate, going 4-for-4 with three runs scored. LF Scott Grimes also had a good game, going 1-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI. Closer Jamie Merchant notched his fifth save of the season by going 1 2/3 scoreless innings. Quebec 2B Boomer Berry led the way offensively in the losing effort. He was 2-fo-2 with two runs scored.
