New Haven County scored five runs in the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie and gain a 7-2 victory over the Sussex Skyhawks. Starting pitcher Brad Whitworth picked up the win for the Cutters, allowing just two runs on four hits over six innings of work. At the plate, four different New Haven County batters had two hits in the game. 2B Jeremy Terni led the way, going 2-for-5 with a homerun and two RBI. For Sussex, 2B Marcos Agramonte went 2-for-4.

Worcester 7, Brockton 3

Worcester jumped out to a 5-0 lead after four innings and cruised to a 7-3 win over Brockton. RF Alex Pena and DH Jabe Bergeron combined for six hits and four RBI to lead the Tornadoes at the plate. CF Elliott Shea drove in two runs of his own to add to the Worcester offense. Starting pitcher Matt Weagle allowed just one run on three hits over five innings to get the win and improve to 3-2 on the season. Relief pitcher Chris Shank was impressive as well, throwing two shutout innings to pick up his second save. C Jason Radwan led the Rox at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI.

New Jersey 5, Nashua 4

New Jersey RF Alex Fernandez went 2-for-3 with a homerun and three RBI to lead the Jackals past Nashua 5-4. LF John Lindsey also went 2-for-3 and drove in a run of his own for the Jackals attack. Starting pitcher Michael Vicaro allowed only two runs over five innings to pick up the win, his first of the season. DH Larry Bethea and 3B Andy Dillard combined for five hits and three RBI to lead Nashua at the plate. Dillard homered in the game, his fifth of the year.

DH Mathieu Bergeron went 2-for-4 with a homerun and two RBI to help Quebec past North Shore 8-2. The homerun was Bergeron's seventh of the season. LF/CF Ed Montague added three hits and an RBI of his own to the Capitales offense. Relief pitcher Brandon Pello picked up his third win of the season and relief pitcher T.J. Stanton did not give up a run over the final 3 1/3 innings of the game to notch his first save. For North Shore, SS Chris Rowan went 2-for-4 with a homerun.
