The Nashua Pride, behind the strength of five home runs, gets past New Jersey 8-5 and forces a game five tomorrow evening in Little Falls. Pride C Luis Rodriguez and LF Bryan Duplissie went a combined 5-for-7 at the plate, including three homeruns, with four runs scored and four RBI. 1B Chris Colabello and CF Rich Giannotti each homered in the game as well for Nashua. Pride starter Joe Gannon picked up the win as he went six innings allowing three runs, only one earned, on five hits with two walks and six strikeouts. Nashua closer Rich Garces notched his first save of the postseason pitching a scoreless ninth giving up a walk and a hit. For the Jackals, 3B Wilton Veras, 1B Marcos Rodriguez and SS Guillermo Reyes each had two hit nights. Game five is set to begin at 5:05 PM. Nashua will send Hideki Nagasaka to the mound while New Jersey goes with John Kelly.

The North Shore Spirit scored six runs in the sixth inning to overcome a 5-2 deficit and went on from there to beat the Atlantic City Surf and advance to the Can-Am League Championship Series. The Spirit plated 13 runs on the night along with 15 hits. DH Vic Davilla and 3B Luis Lopez went a combined 4-for-8 at the plate with four runs scored and a run batted in. 1B Josue Lopez, C Alex Trezza and SS Jerson Perez each collected two hits on the night as well for North Shore. Dennis Robinson was the winning pitcher in relief for the Spirit as he hurled 3 2/3 innings allowing only earned run on two hits with a walk and three strikeouts. 3B Anthony Granato, DH Clyde Williams and SS David Keesee each had two hits in the game for the Surf with Granato hitting a home run. C Wally Rosa also homered for Atlantic City in the losing effort.
