Trois-Rivieres 6, Quebec 3

After two scoreless innings of action, Trois-Rivieres plated five runs over the next three to take a 5-3 lead and would go on to defeat Quebec by the score of 6-3.

The Aigles had 10 hits in the contest with four batters collecting multi-hit games. Trois-Rivieres 1B Kevin Cornelius led the way at the plate going 2-for-4 with a pair of home runs and two RBIs. Aigles RF Michael Suchy had two in five at-bats and a run batted in while DH Alex Herceg and SS Sam Dexter each scored a run and contributed two hits.

Rockland 3, Ottawa 2

First baseman Mikael Mogues and CF Mike Montville hit back-to-back home runs in the seventh inning to break a 1-1 tie and lift Rockland to a 3-2 win over Ottawa. The duo pulled off this same feat just two days ago when they belted back-to-back blasts in the ninth inning to give the Boulders the walk-off win over Trois-Rivieres.

Rockland 3B Cody Regis also hit a solo home run in a 2-for-4 night while DH Conrad Gregor had two hits in three at-bats with a double.

Boulders pitcher Nick Kennedy tossed 1 1/3 scoreless innings of relief to nab the victory. Kennedy allowed a hit and struck out two in the five batters he faced. The southpaw is now 4-1 on the season.

For Ottawa in the loss, DH Sebastien Boucher and C Zak Colby each had 2-for-4 nights at the plate with a run scored.

Sussex County 6, New Jersey 4

Sussex County scored three runs in the fourth inning to grab a 5-1 lead and would cruise from there to a 6-4 victory over New Jersey. The win by the Miners was their 14th straight home win, which sets a Can-Am League record for most consecutive victories at home.

Center fielder Jayce Ray led the way at the plate for Sussex County going 3-for-4 with a triple, two stolen bases and three runs scored. Miners DH Mikey Reynolds had a pair of hits in four at-bats and two RBI while 1B Audy Ciriaco plated two runs and drove in one.

Sussex County starter Cory Jones gave up three earned runs over six innings pitched to pick-up the victory. Jones allowed a walk and struck out two in an 82-pitch performance. The righty is now 6-1 on the year.
