New Jersey 7, New York 2

Jackals 3B Nick Giarraputo went 3-for-4, and New Jersey used three consecutive run-scoring innings to earn a 7-2 win over New York. Giarraputo scored once and batted in two scores. The Federals took a 2-1 lead in the top of the third. But a run from New Jersey in the fourth, two in the fifth and three in the sixth took care of New York. Giarraputo doubled in the fifth-inning runs to put his club on top for good. For the Federals, 2B Jake Rosenbeck went 2-for-4 with a run scored.

Pittsfield 3, Rockland 2

The Boulders got back-to-back solo home runs from DH Barry Wesson and CF/LF Norm Hutchins in the sixth, bringing the club to within one run of visiting Pittsfield. But the Colonials pitching staff buckled down from then on and earned a 3-2 win. Pittsfield starting pitcher Chad Paronto - who allowed the solo shots - got the win, going seven innings and allowing seven hits with six strikeouts. Batting in the nine hole, Colonials CF Quentin Davis went 2-for-4 with a run scored for Pittsfield. Joining him in the multi-hit club, Colonials 3B Billy Mottram went 2-for-4 and batted in a run.

Newark 9, Worcester 3

After two innings, the Tornadoes led Newark, 3-0. But two separate four-run innings from the Bears led them to a come-from-behind, 9-3 win. Newark went on top in the fifth, when RF Caleb Stewart doubled in LF Brandon Watson and 3B Paddy Matera - the third and fourth runs of the frame. Stewart went 2-for-5 and scored a run to go along with his two RBI. Tornadoes C Alex Trezza batted in Worcester's first two runs to highlight his 3-for-4 night. Trezza also stole a base.

Quebec 2, Brockton 2 (In progress - Bottom 13)

The Capitales and Rox have totaled only four hits since Brockton tied the score at two in the bottom of the seventh inning. The game is now in the bottom of the 13th with the score still 2-2.
