After falling behind 1-0 after the first inning, the Worcester Tornadoes scored three runs in the second inning and four more in the third to take a 7-1 lead and would roll from there to a 14-5 win over the Newark Bears. 2B Abraham Nunez and 3B Mark Minicozzi each collected three hits while DH Nick Salotti and CF Cameron Monger both hit two home runs. Tornadoes starting pitcher Kevin Cooper notched his third win after allowing five earned runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings pitched.
