Worcester 10, Quebec 3

Worcester 1B Chris Colabello homered twice, had five RBIs and scored three runs as the Tornadoes rolled past Quebec 10-3. After scoring two in the first inning, Worcester added four in the second when 2B Abraham Nunez belted a three-run home run and Colabello smacked a solo homer to make it 6-0 Tornadoes. Nunez went 4-for-5 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored for Worcester. Tornadoes 3B Mark Minicozzi had two hits and an RBI, and DH Nick Salotti batted in a run as well. Worcester starting pitcher Shawn Gilblair pitched seven innings and earned the win, allowing three runs on three hits. For Quebec, 1B Rene Leveret hit a two-run home run in a losing effort.

New Jersey 10, Rockland 4

The New Jersey Jackals used a four-run third inning and a big day from DH Mike Jones to propel them to a 10-4 rout of the Rockland Boulders. The Jackals took an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first when C Myron Leslie hit a sacrifice fly that scored CF Chris White. In the top of the third, Jones smacked a three-run home run to cap off the four-run inning. Jones belted his second homer of the night in the fifth inning and finished the game 2-for-4 at the dish with four RBIs and two runs scored. Jackals LF Jeremy Slayden also homered in the fifth inning and had two RBIs in the game. New Jersey RF Leonard Davis had two hits in three at-bats, three RBIs and two runs scored. For Rockland, 1B Cristobal Santana had a hit and two RBIs in a losing effort.
