Pittsfield 5, New Jersey 2

Facing a one-run deficit in the bottom of the sixth, 3B Johnny Welch approached the plate with two outs and a runner on first. Welch cranked a home run and gave Pittsfield a 3-2 lead, an advantage it wouldn't relinquish for the rest of the game. Pittsfield added two more runs in the bottom of the seventh inning while pitchers David Qualben and Rafael Lluberes shut out New Jersey for the remainder of the game. New Jersey committed four errors in the game and Pittsfield scored one unearned run off of those. DH Mike Jones was 2-4 with two RBIs and he hit his second home run of the season in the loss.

Quebec 6, New York 5

Pete LeForest hit a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning that gave Quebec a one-run lead that held until the end of the game. Pitcher TJ Stanton took the mound in the eighth and ninth innings and struck out five batters as he denied New York any chance of a comeback. Four Quebec pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts and only eight hits. CF Trevor Pippin had three RBIs and homered for New York in the loss. New York left ten runners on base, while Quebec left just six.

Brockton 7, Worcester 5

Brockton used a five-run fifth inning to jump on top of Worcester and hold on for the win. LF Ryan Royster hit a three-run home run in that inning. Matt Smith picked up the loss for failing to escape the fifth inning, and Jimmer Kennedy got the win in relief action. All but one of Brockton's batters registered a hit in the game, and the team committed no errors in the field. SS Boomer Blanchard was 3-4 with an RBI and two runs for Worcester.
