Rockland 4, Newark 3
Rockland 2B Jermel Lomack hit a three-run home run in the third inning to give the Boulders a 3-0 lead and they would hold on late to defeat the Newark Bears 4-3. Starting pitcher Roger Lincoln gave Rockland a solid performance as he tossed seven innings allowing only an earned run on four hits with four strikeouts. For Newark in defeat, SS Jeff Toth went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs and C Billy Alvino had three hits.
