Rockland 5, New Jersey 4 (11 Innings)
Rockland 2B Aaron Wilson hit a two-run triple in the top of the 11th inning to break a 3-3 tie and carry the Boulders to a 5-4 win over New Jersey.
After three scoreless innings of play, Rockland jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the fourth as RF Conor Bierfeldt came home on a double play from DH Marcus Nidiffer. The Boulders increased their advantage to 2-0 in the sixth on a Nidiffer RBI single and then added another run in the seventh on a run producing double from C Jason Agresti. The score stayed that way until the bottom of the ninth when the Jackals rallied for three runs, highlighted by a two-run error from Rockland 1B Mikael Mogues, and sent the contest into extra innings. The Boulders finally took control in the 11th scoring a pair of runs on the Wilson triple and holding off another rally by New Jersey.
Rockland CF Jared McDonald went 1-for-4 with two runs scored while 3B Conrad Gregor collected three hits in five at-bats and plated a run.
Boulders pitcher Frank Moscatiello tossed two innings of relief and notched the victory. Moscatiello gave up an unearned run on two hits and a pair of walks. The righty is now 2-0 on the season.
For the Jackals in the loss, 3B Seth Spivey went 2-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI.
