Brockton 3, Worcester 1 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)
After dropping game one of a doubleheader, the Brockton Rox recovered to defeat Worcester 3-1 in game two. Worcester scored first when 2B Abraham Nunez hit an RBI double in the bottom of the first to give the Tornadoes a 1-0 lead. The Rox responded in the top of the fifth when LF Dan Barbero doubled and later came around to score to tie the game. The Rox scored two more in the top of the sixth to take a 3-1 lead. Rox 2B Tucker Nathans went 1-for-3 with two RBIs, and RF Keith Brachold went 2-for-3 with a run scored. Starting pitcher Jake Loye pitched five innings and earned the win for Brockton, allowing one run on four hits. Rox reliever Jake Hale worked a scoreless inning to earn the save.
