Brockton 3, Quebec 2 (Game 2 - 8 Innings)
Brockton edged Quebec 3-2 in extra innings to sweep both games of a doubleheader. Trailing 2-1, Brockton tied the score in the top of the sixth when RF Keith Brachold hit an RBI single that scored CF Chris Valencia. The game went to extra innings and in the top of the eighth, Brockton SS Dominic Ramos scored on a Quebec error to give the Rox the go-ahead run. Rox reliever Jake Hale worked a 1-2-3 bottom of the eighth to earn the save for Brockton. Rox reliever Jimmer Kennedy was credited with the win for his one scoreless inning pitched.
