HR: WOR- Francisco Caraballo 2 (22), Chris Colabello (16), Scott Grimes (20); QBC- Goef Tomlinson (7)

Worcester used four home runs and a solid effort from starter Matt Weagle to double up Quebec 6-3. Weagle went eight innings and surrendered three earned runs on seven hits to improve his record to 10-7. Tornadoes LF Francisco Caraballo had a huge game smashing two home runs and driving in four in a 3-for-4 night. 1B Chris Colabello also went deep, added a double, and scored two runs. Quebec CF Goef Tomlinson produced all the Capitales runs with a homer, a triple, and three RBI.

New Jersey 6, Sussex 4

HR: NJ- Chris Kelly (12), Matt Lauderdale (10); SUS- Mario Delgado (1)

New Jersey C Matt Lauderdale broke a 4-4 tie with a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning and the Jackals downed Sussex 6-4. Lauderdale finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored. Mike Vicaro struck out six batters and allowed four earned runs in 7 1/3 innings to claim the victory. He's now 7-5 on the season. Sussex reliever Khalid Afify went two innings but allowed the deciding runs and dropped to 1-1. Jackals DH Luke Allen was a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs scored.

Nashua 8, Atlantic City 2

Nashua broke open a 2-2 tie with six runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Atlantic City 8-2. Pride starter Matt O'Brien turned in a great performance going eight innings and allowing just one earned run while striking out five. With the win he improved to 3-1. Surf reliever Walker Whitley suffered the loss as he allowed all six runs in the eighth inning on five hits. LF Vinny Pennell powered the Pride offense as he went 3-for-5 and drove in three runs. Nashua CF Ervin Alcantara also had a good game finishing 2-for-5 with two RBI.

Ottawa 9, Brockton 6

Ottawa collected 17 hits to win a slugfest with Brockton 9-6. Seven Rapidz starters had two or more hits and the first five hitters in the Ottawa batting order went a combined 12-for-24 in the contest. 1B Jabe Bergeron went 3-for-4 with three RBI and RF Pete Pirman finished 2-for-3 with two runs driven in. Brockton was led by 3B Melvin Falu who tripled and finished 3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI. Ottawa starter Jacob Ramos tossed 6 1/3 innings and surrendered three earned runs to earn the victory and improve to 1-1 with the Rapidz.
