Quebec C Patrick DAoust went 2-for-4 and hit a fourth-inning solo homer, helping lead the Capitales past American Association foe St. Paul, 6-2. The home run was DAoust's first of the year. The Capitales scored a run in four consecutive innings from the third to the sixth to power past the Saints. Starting Quebec pitcher Bryan Rembisz threw 6.1 innings and allowed only two runs (one earned) on five hits with three strikeouts. The win was Rembisz' second of the season. On offense for the Saints, no one had more than one hit, with CF Jim Rapoport going 1-for-4 with a run from the leadoff spot.
