Cam Woods and Josh Sanderson Western Division All-Stars

SAN JOSE - The National Lacrosse League (NLL) announced today that San Jose Stealth defenseman Cam Woods and forward Josh Sanderson were named to represent the Western Division in this year's 2003-04 All-Star Game on Feb.22 at Pepsi Center in Colorado.

Woods, 27, the Stealth's team captain, has posted four assists and is second on the club in loose balls (34) this season.

Last season Woods tallied 14 points (4 goals, 10 assists) and collected a career high 119 loose balls, playing in all 16 games for the Albany Attack, now the Stealth. The six-foot-three, 205-pound native of Toronto, Ontario was signed by Albany as a free agent on Dec. 28, 1999.

Sanderson, 33, leads the Stealth in assists (21) and total points (32) in six games played this season. He is also tied for third on the team with 11 goals. Sanderson is second in the league in assists with 21 and tied for fifth in the league points.

In 2002-03 Sanderson posted a team high 76 points (25 goals, 51 assists) in 15 games. His 15 assists ranked first on the team and fourth in the league.

The five-foot-seven, 165-pound native of Orangeville, Ontario was selected by Albany from the Rochester Knighthawks in the 2000 NLL Expansion Draft.
