Caliente Remain Undefeated
August 31, 2003 - Women's Professional Football League (WPFL)
Arizona Caliente News Release
The Arizona Caliente women's football team remain UNDEFEATED after 4 games. The Caliente's home opener Saturday night August 30th,2003, proved to be a forceful one as the team overtook the San Diego SunFire 38-20. Although the temperature in Arizona was hot, the Caliente were hotter. With exciting last second TDs in the 2nd & 4th by the Caliente and a last second score for the SunFire in the 3rd, these 2 teams showed they were not letting a little time running off the clock stop them from playing some great football.
The team's next HOME game is Saturday, September 6th against the SoCal Scorpions. The Caliente home field is North High School, 1101 E. Thomas Rd. in Phoenix, game time is 7:00pm. Tickets are available at the gate: $12.00 Adult, $6.00 Student, 10 and under are free with a paid adult.
