Oshawa Generals' Connor Punnett versus Peterborough Petes' Nico Addy

(Peterborough, ON) - On Thursday, February 1, the Peterborough Petes hosted the rival Oshawa Generals for the final meeting between the two teams this season. The Generals took a late lead and won the game by a score of 6-3.
The game marked the 10th Talk Today event in partnership with the HKPR branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association. The event was presented by Grain Farmers of Ontario and Syngenta Canada. Hockey Hall of Famer and Petes Alumnus Chris Pronger was in attendance and on the ice before the game for the ceremonial puck drop.
Chase Lefebvre and Tommy Purdeller led the way for the Petes with two assists each, while Joseph Cadorin scored his first OHL goal. Nico Addy and Caden Taylor rounded out the scoring with a goal each, as Carson Cameron and Ryder McIntyre both picked up an assist. Liam Sztuska stopped 35/40 in the loss.

The Petes are back in action for the 15th Annual Pink in the Rink game when they host the Niagara IceDogs on Saturday, February 3. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. at the PMC.
