Burn Hope to Keep Winning Streak and Playoff Dreams Alive

BOISE, Idaho¾As the Boise Burn gear up for the team's final home game of the season this Saturday, July 12, their playoff dreams are still alive. After last weekend's results (the Burn had a bye), Boise (7-6) is holding on to 7th spot in the National Conference standings with three games to go in the season.

The three division leaders from each conference get an automatic berth to the 2008 arenafootball2 playoffs with the next best five records rounding out the remaining spots. The current af2 playoff standings are included at the end of the release.

To celebrate the Burn's last home game of 2008, the team is offering the following specials to fans:

4-for-$44 pack; includes four tickets to the game, four hot dogs and four Pepsis; $2 domestic beers through the first quarter; $200 group rate includes 20 tickets, a business card ad insert in the program and a public address announcement.

The Burn, who have won their last two contests, take on the Florida Firecats, currently 9-4 and the American Conference, South Division leader, and hope to pack Qwest Arena to cheer them on as they make a push for their first-ever playoff appearance.
