Anaheim Ducks General Manager Brian Burke lifts the Stanley Cup The Chilliwack Bruins would like to officially announce that Bruins co-owner and Anaheim Ducks General Manager Brian Burke will be bringing the Stanley Cup to Chilliwack to share with Bruins fans. This will take place on Saturday, July 28th from noon to 3pm at the Roger's Wireless Kiosk located at the Cottonwood Mall in Chilliwack.
This event will be the only public appearance by Brian Burke and the Stanley Cup in the Lower Mainland - Fraser Valley region.
The 14-year-old Ducks dropped the mighty from their name, but not their game and skated off with the first Stanley Cup championship in California history with a four games to one victory over the Ottawa Senators in June.
