January 22, 2015 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Belleville Bulls News Release
Do you know someone who is positive, passionate and is always looking forward to the next Belleville Bulls home game?
The Belleville Bulls Organization has begun receiving nominations for the Terry Hounslow Award, an annual recognition of one especially dedicated Bulls fan. The award, sponsored by Medigas, will see the eventual winner receive a pair of Bulls 2015/16 season tickets.
Terry Hounslow was a long-time Bulls season ticket holder who passed away in 2007. Hounslow exhibited enthusiasm and a positive attitude in all of her endavours and particularly enjoyed supporting the Bulls at every home game.
The Bulls began awarding the Hounslow Award in the 2008/09 season and are looking for another outstanding season ticket holder after Kevin Maracle received the honours last season.
To qualify, the fan must be a season ticket holder for a minimum of two seasons, be a fan of the Bulls through all of the highs and lows of the hockey season and convey a community spirit of giving. Those nominated for the award should be positive, passionate and enthusiastic in their approach to supporting the team.
Nominations for the Hounslow Award will conclude on Saturday, February 7th and voting will begin on Wednesday, February 11th when the Bulls host the Ottawa 67's.
