Amarillo Bulls News Release
AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls Tip A Bull For Habitat For Humanity concluded earlier this week and organizer forward Ryan Cole was all smiles with the final numbers.
"We raised $1,978 which was close to my goal of $2,000," Cole stated.
Bulls' players were split up into groups and took turns clearing tables, filling drinks and talking to fans as well as other patrons about the fundraising Event that took place at the two Chilli's locations on I-40 near Western and on Coulter.
"I want to thank my teammates because it was their help that got this thing going and I couldn't have done it without them," Cole said. "Bernie McDonnell, and Stephanie Bass also helped out. The Bulls' fans who took time to support this great cause by giving their time and money. I appreciate everything they did."
Cole said that one of the most important things that he learned from this event is the work that goes to help put them all together.
"You see all of these organizations that raise money for great causes like Cancer and you can't imagine the amount of work that goes into that," he said. "I know from me, I made so many calls to businesses just asking for help and organizing events. It was a lot of work for just this small project. It really puts into perspective how much work these people do."
