
Bulls Lose a Close One To Chiefs, 3-2

Durham, NC - Russ Adams' sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning scored Pedro Lopez with the go-ahead run as the Syracuse Chiefs knocked off the Durham Bulls, 3-2 on Sunday evening at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
The game was scoreless until the sixth inning when Adam Lind singled to center scoring Buck Coats to make it 1-0. One out later, Matt Watson singled to left scoring Adam Lind to make it 2-0, Syracuse. The Bulls tied the game in the bottom of the sixth on Dan Johnson's two-run home run to left field.
RHP Jordan De Jong (1-1) picked up the win pitching one and one third innings of scoreless relief. LHP Brian Henderson (0-1) took the loss allowing a run on three hits in two innings of work.
