Amarillo Bulls News Release
AMARILLO, TX - After a huge character win last night, the Amarillo Bulls look to go back to back when they host the Corpus Christi Ice Rays tonight (Sunday) at 6 pm in The Bull Pen at the Amarillo Civic Center.
It's Sonic Sunday and it's also the first sellout in the young franchise history of the Bulls. All tickets were scooped up by fans earlier in the week and a noisy, ruckus crowd is expected in Cal Farley Coliseum.
The Bulls have been outstanding on home ice, posting 13 wins and can move into a tie for second place in the South Division with a decision over Corpus Christi. This is the IceRays first game in Amarillo since back in September. The two teams will see one another a total of eight times during the remainder of the regular season.
Fans can tune into the game live on ESPN1440 and www.amarillobulls.com fueled by Sportsjuice beginning with The Bulls Warm Up Show Presented By Wayland Baptist University at 5:45 pm. Denis J. Puska has the play-by-play action at 6 pm. The game is also available on Pay Per View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.
The Amarillo Bulls close out a five game home stand next Thursday, Jan. 27 when they entertain the New Mexico Mustangs at 7 pm. Tickets for this game are available at all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets, Civic Center Box Office or online at www.amarillobulls.com. For further information on group rates, flex packs or to purchase tickets, please call the Bulls Office at 806-242-1122.
