
Bulls Get First Win of the Season

MACON, GA - Birmingham wins their first game of the 2020-21 season tonight in an overtime game in Macon, GA.
The Bulls and the Macon Mayhem stayed scoreless until the 3rd period when Taylor Pryce got Birmingham on the board first. Macon found the net twice before Birmingham's John Gustafsson scored to send the game in OT.
Birmingham entered the extra period with a man advantage from a Macon penalty that carried over from regulation. Birmingham's Tanner Froese beat Mayhem goalie John Theut to give the Bulls their first win of the season and 2 points in the standings.
Bulls Rookie goal Hayden Lavigne gets the win with 40 saves on the night.
Birmingham returns home Thursday night January 7 to face the Pensacola Ice Flyers and on Saturday January 9 for their first meeting with in-state rival, The Huntsville Havoc.
