BLAINE, MN - One of the featured games on Day two of the North American Hockey League Showcase is a match-up of the last two Robertson Cup National Champions.

The Amarillo Bulls, who won the title in 2013, face the Fairbanks Ice Dogs who captured the title this past season, tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon at 4:30 pm.

The Bulls punctuated the Jon Rogger era with a thrilling 5-2 victory over the Wenatchee Wild on Wednesday morning thanks to a three-point game by Joey DiBenedetto and a 34-save performance by Jacob Weatherly. The Ice Dogs dropped a 6-5 decision to the Wichita Falls Wildcats in afternoon action. The game featured several lead changes with the Ice Dogs blowing a two goal advantage.

Amarillo and Fairbanks have met previously on two occasions at the Robertson Cup National Championship tournament in Topeka in 2010 and Frisco TX in 2011. The Ice Dogs hold the advantage 2-0.

The South Division finished Day one with an even record of 3-3 with the Bulls, Topeka RoadRunners and Corpus Christi IceRays all posting wins.
