Bulls Edge Rays In OT To Get Back In Series

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - The Amarillo Bulls got back into their South Division Semi-Final Series with the Corpus Christi IceRays on Thursday night.

Brett Abdelnour scored 7:06 into overtime to lift the Bulls past the Corpus Christi IceRays 4-3 and now trail the Best-Of-Five Series 2-1. The fourth game is set for Saturday night at 7 pm at American Bank Center.

That goal was Abdelnour's second of the game and he missed a chance to win the game for the team in the dying seconds of regulation time. Jake Willets and Alex Peterson had the other goals for the winners, while Jason Grande posted the win in goal. Jason Brancheau set up two goals.

The Bulls controlled most of the play in the game taking the play to the IceRays with several quality scoring chances but were unable to push ahead.

The visitors held three one goal leads only to sere the IceRays rally to tie the game including the third goal to tie in the third period to force overtime.

There will be a watch party for the fourth game of the series beginning at 6 pm in The Corral at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Admission is $5 and there will be free appetizers, giveaways, draws and much more.

Fans can tune into the action of the fourth game of the series between Bulls and the IceRays at 6:30 pm with Prelude To The Playoffs Presented by Fit Omni. Denis J. Puska has the hard hitting action at 7 pm on 107.1 Nash Icon, www.amarillobulls.com/listen and on PPV with Hockey TV.

If a fifth and deciding game is necessary it will be played on Monday at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Ticket information and specials will be released when the game is needed.
