Green Bay, Wis.- The Green Bay Bullfrogs defeated the Duluth Huskies 6-2 on Thursday night at Joannes Stadium.
Bullfrog bats were quiet early, but Green Bay made some noise with one swing of the bat in the bottom of the fourth inning.
The Bullfrogs loaded the bases with a pair of hit batters and a walk to bring Green Bay's RBI leader Ryan Donovan to the plate. On the first pitch of the at bat, Donovan smashed a line-drive home run over the rightfield wall to give the Bullfrogs the lead.
It was Donovan's third home run of the season, and he increased his team-leading RBI total to 22.
Alex Martinez earned the win in five innings of work. He allowed two runs on five hits with two walks and two strikeouts.
Kevin Folman picked up the loss for Duluth. He allowed four runs on three hits and two walks. Folman also struck out three batters.
Following a 1-2-3 top of the first inning, Martinez got the first two batters out in the second before three consecutive singles, capped off by a run-scoring base hit to left-centerfield for Steven Neutzling to give the Huskies an early lead.
The inning following Donovan's home run, Martinez walked a batter and hit another before a two-out RBI single for Justin Paulsen to cut the deficit to two for the Huskies in the fifth.

Jeremy Graf pitched a scoreless ninth to close out the win for the Bullfrogs, who improved to 11-10 on the season.
Green Bay will be on the road tomorrow night at 6:35 to begin a two-game series against the Lakeshore Chinooks.
