The Bullfrogs improved to 3-4 on the second half of the Northwoods League season on Thursday with a 15-6 victory over the Lakeshore Chinooks at Joannes Stadium.

After the Chinooks took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, the Bullfrogs came back with two runs in the bottom half. David Armendariz and Brooks Orton each scored on RBIs from Billy Moon and Justin Seager, who led the Bullfrogs offensively throughout the night.

Lakeshore tied it up at 2-2 when Ryan Krill scored in the top of the second, but the Bullfrogs took the lead for good with six runs in the bottom of the second frame. Chris Hoo, Nick Stein, Collin Shaw, Armendariz, Orton, and Seager all scored for the Bullfrogs. The highlight of the inning was Seager's two run home run off of the right field foul pole. This was his first home run of the 2012 season. Green Bay led 8-2 after the second.

Seager tacked on two more RBI in the five-run third with his league-leading 18th double of the season. He plated Armendariz and Orton. Moon had an RBI sacrifice fly in the frame. Armendariz and Ransom LaLonde each drove home runs with singles, and the Bullfrogs took a 13-2 lead through three innings.

Lakeshore cut into the lead with three runs in the sixth inning off of Bullfrogs' reliever Mac Acker. Eric Aguilera, Ryan Ussery, and David Masters each scored for the Chinooks in the frame.

In the seventh Green Bay tacked on two additional runs to bring the lead to 15-5. In a pinch hit appearance, Brian Celsi doubled home Armendariz. Celsi later scored on a Moon single.

The Chinooks scored the final run of the game on German Reyes' solo home run in the ninth.

The win went to Harry Stanwyck (2-1). He allowed one earned run in five innings of work, while striking out five Chinook batters. Acker gave up three earned runs in one inning of relief. Ben Graff pitched two scoreless frames, and Alex Abrams allowed his first earned run of the season in the ninth.
