Bullfrogs Announce 2015 Food Specials

Green Bay, Wis.- The Green Bay Bullfrogs will be selling a variety of mouth-watering food specials throughout the baseball season. In addition to the regular concession stand menu, fans at Joannes Stadium will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of food specials throughout the season.

The Bullfrogs will offer specials from gumbo to chicken kabobs and bacon mac and cheese during the opening week. Jambalaya will be served along with barbecue rib sandwiches the following home stand.

Other specials throughout the season will be brisket sliders, Philly nachos, herb pasta salad, smoked pork bellies, fish tacos and the ever-popular frog legs.

Each Wednesday, Chef Dan, will create a unique special that will include all local ingredients from the On Broadway Farmers Market. The specials will be limited, so arrive early to try the unique and local creations.

Bacon lovers should mark their calendar for July 23 as Chef Boyer will be making his way to Green Bay to treat fans to a variety of bacon specials.

The Bullfrogs are also adding pulled pork and the pizza dog to their standard menus, both were fan favorites in 2014. On June 12 and July 24, the Bullfrogs will roast a pig at the ballpark and serve a pork plate, which will include freshly roasted pork, potato salad and coleslaw.

The Curd and Glazer Burger made their way into Joannes Stadium in 2014 and will be featured again in 2015. The Curd Burger is a quarter pound patty with fresh or deep fried cheese curds on top. The Glazer Burger is a quarter pound patty with bacon and American cheese served between a glazed doughnut.

Bullfrogs open the 2015 season at Joannes Stadium against the La Crosse Loggers. Game time is slated for 6:35pm. Tickets for the 2015 season are on sale now and can be purchased over the phone, online and in person at the Bullfrogs Office.
