
Kingfish Add a Pair from Ohio State

Kenosha, Wis. - May 7, 2015. The Kingfish have announced the signing of two strong bats from Ohio State University for the 2015 season. Zach Ratcliff will be returning to Kenosha along with his teammate Nick Sergakis.
Ratcliff, a 6'5", 210-pound junior from Blacklick, Ohio will join the Kingfish for another summer after a solid 2014 season. Last summer, he hit .238 with 38 RBIs and eight home runs.
This season with the Buckeyes, Ratcliff has .253 batting average with four RBIs and one home run. As a sophomore, he hit .232 with two home runs and 15 RBIs. He also participated in the 2014 College Baseball Home Run Derby.
Sergakis, a 5'8", 175-pound redshirt junior from Columbus, Ohio will join his teammate Ratcliff in Kenosha this summer. So far this season with the Buckeyes, he has a .262 batting average with 19 RBIs and one home run.
During his sophomore season in 2014, Sergakis hit .318 with 13 RBIs, one home run and three stolen bases. Sergakis has not only been successful on the field, but in the classroom as well, being named an Ohio State University Scholar-Athlete.
The Kingfish will open the season at home on Tuesday, May 26th at 7:05 pm as they take on the St. Cloud Rox.
