Bulldogs Recognized Amongst 2013-2014 AHL Team Business Services Awards

SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS - American Hockey League President and CEO David Andrews announced the winners of the league's annual Team Business Services awards today, recognizing outstanding achievements in a variety of categories including ticket sales, community service and fan experience. The Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Club earned top honours in the Western Conference for corporate sponsorship sales growth in 2013-2014.
"To be recognized by the American Hockey League with an award of excellence is truly an honour," said Bulldogs President Stephen Ostaszewicz. "The award speaks to the efforts of not only our corporate sales staff, but our entire organization. The support we've received from the corporate community is appreciated and we look forward to working with existing and prospective partners to keep growing our business."
As part of its Team Business Services program, the AHL honoured one club from each conference for top revenue growth in four areas during this past season: overall ticket sales, season-ticket sales, group-ticket sales and corporate sponsorship sales. The winners in overall ticket sales revenue growth were the Bridgeport Sound Tigers (Eastern) and Texas Stars (Western). Winners for season-ticket sales growth were the Syracuse Crunch (Eastern) and Rockford IceHogs (Western). The Adirondack Phantoms (Eastern) and Oklahoma City Barons (Western) earned the awards for group-ticket sales growth, and the Providence Bruins (Eastern) and Bulldogs (Western) were recognized for their corporate sponsorship sales growth.
