SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Syracuse Crunch, in conjunction with the American Hockey League, today announced that Crunch Owner Howard Dolgon has been selected as the winner of the league's Thomas Ebright Award in recognition of career contributions to the AHL.
As the longest-tenured independent ownership in the league, Dolgon and the Crunch marked their 20th anniversary in 2013-14 and remain at the forefront of innovative marketing ideas and practices. Thanks to his bold creativity and tireless passion, Dolgon is highly regarded throughout the sports world and beyond as he continues to bring positive exposure to the Crunch organization, the Syracuse community and the American Hockey League.
Dolgon was also honored by the AHL in 2010 by being named the recipient of the James C. Hendy Memorial Award as the league's outstanding executive.
