HAMILTON, ONTARIO. They're neck and neck in the standings and Hamilton and Mississauga needed extra time Saturday before the Bulldogs won 4-3 in overtime.

Despite being out-shot 16-4 in the 1st period, the Bulldogs grabbed a 2-0 lead after Kade Landry (4) scored on the power-play followed up by Owen Burnell's (1) first of the season.

Halfway through the 2nd period the Steelheads cut Hamilton's lead in half but Isaac Nurse (9) responded with a short-handed goal to put the Bulldogs up 3-1 at the end of two.

The Steelheads scored twice in the 3rd period with the tying goal coming in the final minute with the goalie on the bench to send the game into overtime, but 92-seconds into OT, Kade Landry (5) got a shot through from the point for his second of the game and the game winner to make the final 4-2 for the Black and Gold.

The Bulldogs have now recorded points in 10 of their last 13 games with a record of 8-3-1-1.

3 STARS:

1) Kade Landry (HAM) 2) Zachary Roy (HAM) 3) Joe Ranger (MISS)

The Bulldogs head back on the road tomorrow night when they visit the Sting in Sarnia at 7 pm.
