Bulldogs announce pre-season schedule

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today their four-game 2006-2007 pre-season schedule.

The 'Dogs will open the pre-season on Wednesday, September 27th at 7:30 p.m., when they will travel to the Oshawa Civic Centre in Oshawa, Ontario, to take on the Toronto Marlies.

Hamilton's second pre-season game will take place on Friday, September 29th at 7:30 p.m., when they will visit the Onondaga County War Memorial at Oncenter in Syracuse, New York, where they will combat the Crunch.

The Bulldogs third pre-season contest is set for Saturday, September 30th at 4 p.m., when they will meet the Toronto Marlies at the Southwood Arena at the Woodstock Community Complex in Woodstock, Ontario.

The 'Dogs fourth, and final pre-season match-up is scheduled for Sunday, October 1st at 4 p.m., when they will battle the Syracuse Crunch at the Jack Gatecliff Arena at the Garden City Arena Complex in St. Catharines, Ontario.

Information on ticket pricing and availability for all four Hamilton Bulldogs pre-season games will be made available early in August.

In operation since 1936, the American Hockey League is the top development league for all 30 National Hockey League teams. Over 80 percent of NHL players are AHL graduates, and more than 350 AHL players were recalled to the NHL during the 2005-2006 season alone.
