HAMILTON, ONTARIO. Hamitlon Bulldogs Interim General Manager Matt Turek today announced the acquisition of a 2nd Round Draft Selection in 2025 & conditional 6th Round Draft Selection in 2025 from the Kitchener Rangers in exchange for goaltender Marco Costantini.

Costantini, a Hamilton native, amassed an incredible 2021-22 season leading the Ontario Hockey League in goals against average, save percentage and shutouts during while posting a 31-9-2-2 record. Costantini was tremendous in the post-season, going 16-3 with a 2.29 goals against average and .913 save percentage with 3 shutouts on route to backstopping the Bulldogs to the 2022 OHL Championship.

Due to the rules regarding overage players, and the quality of our overage class, the Hamilton Bulldogs were forced into a tough position of having to move not just an incredible but an incredible person in Marco Costantini.
