Buffalo Silverbacks News Release
Buffalo, NY. The ABA Buffalo Silverbacks came home victorious through sleet, snow and below zero weather that should be illegal, or at least against the laws of nature. With over 100 inches of snow in NE NY, "going on the road was tough," according to team spokeman Sterling Sheppard. "But we did it - and we wont two tough games.
The back-to-back wins started with a win over the Quebec City Kebs 91-79 and then the Montreal Royal at 99-76 - defensive struggles both. "And now we're home with games on Feb 21 and 22 with over $7500 in free team gear being giving away to kids." For more information, visit www.buffalosilverbacks.com or www.abalive.com.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
