
Buffalo-Based Kate Mallen to Perform Bisons Opening Day Anthems

The Buffalo Bisons today announced that the Buffalo-based country music performer KATE MALLEN will sing both the Star-Spangled Banner and O' Canada before the Bisons 2018 Home Opener - Thursday, April 12 against the Indianapolis Indians (2:05 p.m.).
Mallen was the winner of the WYRK Taste of Country Riser competition in December and will also be the opening act for the annual WYRK Toyota Taste of Country Concert on Friday, June 8 at Coca-Cola Field. A self-proclaimed big baseball fan, Mallen has performed throughout Western New York as well as in New York City, bringing her unique country-blues sound and raw and honest take on life and love to music fans.
