Bucks Will Wear President's Day Jerseys This Saturday

LAREDO, Texas - The Laredo Bucks announced today that they will wear President's Day jerseys this Saturday night against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game. Originally scheduled for this past weekend, the jerseys will instead be worn this coming Saturday night. The Bucks are home this Friday and Saturday night against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees. Face off both nights set for 7:30 p.m. Fans who purchase a ticket to both Friday and Saturday night's game get a free ticket to the Wednesday, February 8th, game also against Rio Grande Valley. "The President's Day jerseys weren't delivered in time for us to wear them this past weekend," Bucks President John Beckelhymer said. "They arrived this morning and fortunately we were able to reschedule this popular event for this coming Saturday. In conjunction with the spirit of the huge Washington's Birthday Celebration here in Laredo, we wanted to have these jerseys. They were very popular last year."
The red, white and blue President's Day Jerseys were ordered in limited numbers and are expected to sell quickly. Fans are encouraged to come early and shop at the Bucks Team Store.
In addition the Bucks will have a car show starting at 4 p.m. in the LEC parking lot on Saturday. Come see hot rods, low riders, corvettes and more. Plus fans can enjoy a post-game skate on both Friday and Saturday.
