HIDALGO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League start a two-game series at Rio Grande Valley Friday night at State Farm Arena. Game time is 7:30pm.

The Bucks enter Friday's game in need of wins as they are four points behind Arizona for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Berry Conference and six points behind Rio Grande Valley for seventh place. Laredo has one game in hand on both the Sundogs and Killer Bees. After Friday's game the Bucks and Bees will play three more times, including playing the final two games against each other next weekend in a home and home series.
The Bucks have tied a season-high five-game winless streak (0-4-1), including finishing their four-game home stand 0-3-1 after Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Texas. Laredo has not won since a 4-1 victory in Arizona on February 2nd.
Laredo's next win will be the 550th career victory for Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski.
The Bees picked up back to back wins over first-place Allen, including a wild 7-6 home win over the Americans on Tuesday night. Rio will continue their five-game home stand against the Bucks this weekend.
