LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks and Allen Americans will play game four of their 2010 Central Hockey League Southern Conference semifinals series Thursday night at Laredo Energy Arena. Game time is 7:00pm. The Bucks trail the best-of-seven series 2-1. The Family Four Pack is available; get four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $48. The Bucks fell behind in the series two games to one Tuesday night with a 4-1 loss to the Americans forcing a must-win game Thursday night in Laredo. Allen scored two first period goals and never trailed as Chris Whitley won his second straight game in net for the Americans.
Allen became the first team in the series to score first and go on the win the game.
Going back to the 2008 postseason the Bucks have lost five straight home playoff games.
After scoring four goals in game one of the series the Bucks offense has struggled as they have scored just three times in the last two games combined to fall behind in the series.
Each team has struggled on the power-play in the series as Laredo is 0-for-15 while Allen is 2-for-16 with the man advantage.
The Bucks have a 9-8 record all-time in game four of a playoff series.
Todd Griffith leads the Bucks in playoff scoring with four points (2-24) while Nino Musitelli (2-35) and Justin Bowers (2-35) pace the Americans with five points apiece.
