Bruins pick up 2-0 victory

Austin Bruins News Release


The Austin Bruins were back in action at Riverside Arena as they faced off against the Aberdeen Wings. Period one was scoreless as back and forth action was the theme. The Bruins outshot the Wings in period number one 14-8. After one period of play the score was 0-0. The second period the Bruins scored on transition courtesy of Trevor Waldoch assists went to Jeremy Finger and Tyler Bruggeman. At the second intermission the Bruin led 1-0 and outshot the Wings 28-15. The third frame it was Trevor Waldoch scoring his second goal of the contest, assists went to Chris Fischer and Christian Folin. Tyler Bruggeman shut the door for the shutout his second in a row.
