
Bruins knock down T-Birds 5-2

Chilliwack BC - Bruins Captain Nick Holden scored twice in the third period to snap a 2-2 tie and lead the Chilliwack Bruins to a 5-2 win over the Seattle Thunderbirds. Holden's first goal at 2:47 of the third period put the Bruins ahead to stay as Holden scores twice for the first time in his WHL career. Mark Santorelli regained a share of the WHL scoring lead with four assists on the evening. Oscar Moller, David Robinson and Brandon Campos notched goals for the Bruins while Jim O' Brien and Jeremy Boyer replied for the T-Birds.
Mark Friesen picks up the win for the Bruins, who move two points clear of the T-Birds and Kamloops Blazers for 6th in the Western Conference.
The Bruins will next play Kelowna on Friday night in the Okanagan, followed by their next home game, this Saturday versus the Kamloops Blazers.
