
Bruins finish weekend with sweep

Austin Bruins News Release
The Austin Bruins wrapped up their home series against the Minotauros from Minot North Dakota. Minot took a 1-0 lead in the first frame as Hans Drawbert scored on the power play. At the end of one period of play the Bruins trailed 1-0. The second period Colton Kramer dangled Jake Hebda and tied the game 1-1. Assisting on the tying goal was Jeremy Finger and Chase Macdonald. After two periods of play the Bruins had outshot Minot 20-17. The third period the Bruins took the lead as John Kirby was fed by AJ Reid and Charlie Adams. The Bruins led 3-1 after Charlie Adams added an empty netter assisting was Nolan Kirley. The Bruins finish the weekend with a sweep over the Tauros.
