
Bruins Fall at Aberdeen

Austin Bruins News Release
The Austin Bruins hit the road to wage war with the Wings from Aberdeen South Dakota. The first period from the Odde Center was fast paced back and forth action. The Bruins started the scoring courtesy of Chris Fischer assists went to Johnny Simonson and Christian Folin. The Wings answered back as Bob Bruski scored his third of the season. The Wings took the lead when Steven Oberzanek scored on the power play. The Bruins outshot the Wings 12-10 in period one. The second period was scoreless, both teams had opportunities but could not capitalize. The shots were even at 23 at the second intermission. The third period Aberdeen added two more goals one was an empty netter. The Bruins couldn't get anything sparked late in the third period. The Bruins outshot the Wings 40-35 in the final frame.
