Bruins Acquire Defensemen Tristan Zarsky from Shreveport

AUSTIN, MN - The Austin Bruins, proud members of the North American Hockey League, announced on Monday that they have acquired defenseman Tristan Zarsky from the Shreveport Mudbugs in exchange for a 2024 NAHL Draft Pick.

Zarsky, a '03 birthyear, played in 54 career regular-season games last season for Shreveport and appeared in 8 Robertson Cup Playoff games. This season, Zarsky has appeared in 5 games and has 2 assists. Prior to joining the Mudbugs, Zarsky played in the AJHL (Alberta Junior Hockey League) as a member of the Blackfalds Bulldogs.

Zarsky will bring some size to the Bruins blue line as the native of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada stands at 6'3" and weighs 201lbs. Zarsky will wear #25 for the Bruins and is expected to dress this weekend as Austin takes on the St. Cloud Norsemen starting Friday in St. Cloud and then return to Riverside Arena on Saturday for a 7:05 PM CST puck drop.
